Background
This scholarship is provided by the Farran Foundation, courtesy of Andrew Farran. Andrew Farran has had a long-time interest in, and commitment to, the Australian wool industry.
The scholarship is to assist young Australians interested in a career in quality wool production and sheep farm management.
Requirements
- The applicant must be dedicated to pursuing a career in agriculture, in particular the wool industry.
- The funds will be allocated on the basis of $30,000 in Year 1 of study and $30,000 in their final year of study. (Year 2 Agribusiness or Year 3 Agriculture).
- Applicants must demonstrate a genuine need of financial assistance.
