A new partnership between Marcus Oldham College and one of Australia’s leading meat processors, HW Greenham & Sons, will enable a passionate and driven Marcus Oldham undergraduate student the opportunity to be awarded an exciting scholarship for their 2019 studies.

Valued at $20,000, the Greenham Agricultural Scholarship is part of Greenham’s investment to support its local community and help develop the future of its industry.

“Our company has always maintained a focus on supporting future rural leaders through agricultural education,” said Greenham Executive Chairman, Peter Greenham Jnr.

“We are delighted to form a new partnership with Marcus Oldham College in Geelong to cultivate the next generation of beef or dairy industry operator.”

Since 2000 Greenham has funded more than $375,000 of agricultural education scholarships and this new partnership will see the scholarship join the highly reputable Marcus Oldham Scholarship and Bursary Program.

Approximately 20% of students in their first year of study at Marcus Oldham are supported by the generosity of the sponsors and donors of the Marcus Oldham Scholarship and Bursary Program.

The Greenham Agricultural scholarship is available to applicants who are undertaking their first or second year of the Agribusiness Program or the first or third year of the Agriculture Program at Marcus Oldham in 2019. The applicant must be passionate about Australia’s beef or dairy industry, have a desire to further their learning and pursue a career in the beef or dairy industry across the value chain, be it production, processing, logistics or marketing.

The successful applicant may also have the opportunity to undertake the work placement component of the course with Greenham.
