Australia’s only independent agricultural and equine business management college, Marcus Oldham College, continues to lead in facilitating pathways for equine careers
Marcus Oldham College is excited to continue its support of Interschool Australia announcing they will be the event Naming Rights Sponsor for the upcoming 2019 Australian Interschool Championships.
Principal of Marcus Oldham College, Dr Simon Livingstone, said he was delighted to be once again involved with the Australian Interschool Championships, helping provide a platform to showcase young riders’ hard work and dedication.
“What better way to encourage the future of our equine industry than to support these young riders whose talent and commitment to their sport has seen them achieve and succeed to this level at such an early age,” said Dr Livingstone.
“This year marks the 40th year of the Equine Management program in operation at Marcus Oldham, and I believe this demonstrates the College’s long-held faith in an industry that consistently provides such a variety of employment opportunities for our graduates.
“We hope that some of the Interschool competitors will see Marcus Oldham as a valuable launching place to further their studies and advance their career into the equine industry.”
This year, the Marcus Oldham Australian Interschool Championships will be hosted by Equestrian New South Wales at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsely Park NSW, from the 28th of September to the 2nd of October 2019.
The Australian Interschool Championships showcases some of Australia’s best young riders in the disciplines of show jumping, dressage, eventing, combined training and showing. About 400 young riders from across Australia will travel to the Sydney International Equestrian Centre to compete in this pinnacle interschool event on the calendar.
“Marcus Oldham is the recognised leader in equestrian education and we’re excited to have them on board for the third time as naming rights sponsor of the Australian Interschools Championships,” said Equestrian New South Wales’ CEO, Bruce Farrar.
“Celebrating their 40th year in 2019 is a testament to the success of their graduates and this sponsorship gives Marcus Oldham the platform to promote their programs to the very best young rider from across Australia.”
