The successful scholarship recipient is encouraged to undertake their second-year industry placement (11 months) with AFF, gaining hands-on experience and insight into one of Australia’s leading agribusinesses.

The recipient’s role will comprise of farm activities in operations and will also benefit from the experience of visiting head office in Moree to learn about the management aspects of running large scale farming operations. AFF actively supports the development of the next generation of rural professionals, which could lead to future employment opportunities within the company.

This incentive will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

The successful applicant must demonstrate:

  • A passion in agriculture and an intention to work in the industry in a farming role.
  • A willingness to work in a team across diverse roles/enterprises.
  • A friendly character with good integrity.
