Must also show a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the grains industry.

Interviews for all first-year scholarships (2027) will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, commencing the week starting Monday 5th October 2026.

The Scholarship is to be awarded to an applicant who demonstrates a financial need.
It is desired but not necessary for the recipient to undertake their Year 2 Industry Placement with Lawson Grains.
The recipient will receive $10,000 in their first year of study. An additional $5,000 will be awarded in Year 3 if they successfully complete their Year 2 Industry Placement with Lawson Grains.
