Starting a conversation

A major highlight of 2023 was the Parent Student Ball held at GMHBA Stadium in August. It was a fantastic event where parents, friends and students could all connect and enjoy the night.

The student association collected a number of donated goods (including a pure bred kelpie pup named “MOC”) and a charity auction was held on the night which raised more than $62,000 for TIACS – This Is a Conversation Starter.

Jim Riordan joins Foundation Executive

Marcus Oldham Foundation Chair James Bufton (DipFM’94) announced at the August meeting that Jim Riordan (DipFM’93) has joined the Marcus Oldham Foundation Executive Committee.

Jim is the owner of Riordan Grain Services, and the 2017 Marcus Oldham Graduate of Excellence.
